As a B-BBEE level 1 contributor (51% black women ownership), Ex-cel Legal Academy has embraced a dynamic energy of individual talents, diverse experience, and brilliant minds who aspire to be first to market by introducing new methods, ideas and product sets designed to diversify and innovate competitively into the future.

At Ex-cel Legal Academy we provide niche skills development training in South Africa, with the intention of enhancing economic transformation, social inclusion and improved workforce productivity. We were registered in 2022 and provide services to clients throughout South Africa.

At Ex-cel Legal Academy we are passionate about being involved in enhancing skills gaps in South Africa. Our goal is to provide individuals with the necessary qualifications to participate fully in the economy. We have been privileged to attest to the skills that graduates have been able to successfully employ in the South African workforce.

Our Experience

At Ex-cel Legal Academy, our training experience ranges across industries, including financial services, which allows us to offer diverse services to our customers. We specialise in Corporate training services with over 20 years of experience in Compliance, Governance and Risk Management functions in South Africa, abroad and throughout Africa, as well as experience in commercial law, legal advising and legal practice.

Within Ex-cel Legal Academy we rely on qualified experts with immense experience in the areas of training provided, to ensure that delegates acquire hands on knowledge of training concepts. In terms of Legal, Governance and Compliance training, we have provided on-line and face-to-face training with assessments at a Board, Shareholder, Management and Staff level.

Our commercial experience ranges from private practice to providing services on an executive level. Our CEO has headed Legal, Governance, Compliance, as well as Risk Management functions in South Africa, abroad and in Africa

We have experience registering as the Head of Compliance Control function with the Prudential Authority, FAIS Compliance officer with FSCA and AML/FIC Compliance officer with FIC.

We have provided strategic direction in terms of regulatory universes and identified compliance risks through impact assessments on emerging legislation. This has been communicated with Boards of directors and sub-committees and we have drafted action plans for businesses, in order to ensure compliance.

SABPP CPD Accreditation

Ex-cel Legal Academy has representation in all the major centres of South Africa and our goal is to significantly increase this footprint.
